Primary Care Live connects you with your own primary-care practice: video visits on your phone, a Bluetooth cuff that sends readings straight to your doctor, secure messages with the office, and payments with every fee shown before you pay.
Available to patients of participating practices in Texas. Your practice gives you a code to join.
Everything is with your own doctor and their office, not a stranger from a call center.
The other half of the app is the physician's, the front desk's, and the biller's.
The office gives you a practice code. Create your account, sign the consents on your phone, and you're in.
You get a notification with the time, a reminder the day before, and another 30 minutes ahead.
Tap Join up to 10 minutes early. Your doctor sees you're waiting and starts the visit.
Your copay is handled automatically if you have a card on file, and your doctor's notes go to your chart.
Your practice always receives the full amount of your balance. When you pay through the app, the service and processing fees below are added and shown to you line by line first. There are no other charges.
| Paying with | Primary Care Live service fee | Processing fee | Example: $100 balance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Card on file | 2.9% of the amount charged | 2.9% + $0.30 (Stripe) | You pay $106.48; the practice receives $100.00 |
| Split with Affirm | 6% of the loan | 6% + $0.30 (Stripe / Affirm) | You finance $113.98; the practice receives $100.00 |
Copays charged after a visit use the card rates. Affirm financing is subject to eligibility; rates from 0–36% APR; a down payment may be required. Affirm loans are made by Affirm Loan Services, LLC or its lending partners. Insurance claims are handled by your practice as they are today.
Your practice is the covered entity under HIPAA; Belmont Labs operates the platform under a Business Associate Agreement with each practice. Health information is encrypted in transit and at rest, video is encrypted end to end between the two devices, and every view of a chart is logged.
One app for patients and practices. Patients need a code from their practice; practices register in the app.
